Making Tracks Across the US

 This project, The USA Postcard Exchange, provides us with a fun and interesting way to learn about the United States.  Our class will create postcards sharing information about Portage and Indiana.  We will then send them to 49 other states, and receive postcards in return.  When we receive a postcard, we will spend time reading and talking about the state, and looking up it's geographic location on the map.  We will also use time in the computer lab to look up information from online resources.
