    Welcome to our class!  I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and discovery.  Put your thinking caps on, and join in the fun of a year long learning experience!

     I am originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, but moved to this area a little over 10 years ago.  In 2003, I graduated from Purdue North Central with a B.A. in Elementary Education.  After graduating, I obtained a half year position in 4th grade at Aylesworth Elementary.  The following school year, I obtained a third grade position at Kyle Elementary and was there for the last four years.  This is my fifth year of teaching, and I am thrilled to be back at Aylesworth, teaching 1st grade!

     I currently live in Portage with my three little girls, Arianna (9), Haylee (7), and Ella (3).  We enjoy spending time together going to/watching movies, football (DA BEARS!), baseball games (GO WHITE SOX!), NASCAR (GO JEFF GORDON!), and just talking about our days.  In my spare time, I love to shop, read, watch movies, and surf the Internet.
